Orchard Road will continue to remain partially closed between Help and Endeavour Streets for road widening and bus interchange construction activities. The work may include the installation and relocation of services.
In the event of pedestrian and vehicle disruption, traffic detours will be in place and traffic controllers will be on hand to safely direct traffic and pedestrians during all lane and road closures.
The old Chatswood Transport Interchange has been demolished to facilitate the redevlopment of Chatswood as a major transport and urban centre. The old station facilities are being rebuilt to accomodate future passenger numbers and provide easy access facilities to the platforms.
